Knights Women Suffer Loss at Bluefield
Grayson, KY – KCU’s women’s basketball team made their way to Bluefield University’s Dome for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) contest. Traveling with a depleted roster, the Lady Knights fought hard but were unable to pull out a victory against the Rams. KCU dropped the game by a 72-87 final score.
Even with the roster issues, four players reached double figures, led by Abby West with 15 pts and five rebounds to go with four assists and three steals. With her first start of the season, Taylor Isaac had 13 pts (2 3pters) and two rebs with a steal.
Posting 11 pts each, Lakyn Adkins and Kylie Gilliam were the final members of the double-digit scorers for this night. In addition, they grabbed seven and five rebounds, respectively. Off the bench, Rebekah Atilano had seven points and Savannah Parker’s collected five rebounds

KCU will return to the court next Tuesday (Jan 17th) as they travel to Milligan University. The game is set to begin at 5:30 PM.
