Knights Golf Competes at SSU Roger Merb Invitational
Friendship, OH - The Knight's golf team played in the Shawnee State University "Roger Merb" Fall Invitational at the Shawnee State Park Golf Resort.
As a team, the Knights finished 11 out of 13 teams represented in the tournament but with a roster that doesn't have a senior and five of the seven team members are either freshmen or sophomores, the future looks good for the Knights. Matthew Miller had the team-low score for the two-day event with a +14 (158) followed by the duo of Max Baker and Bricen Thompson with a pair of +15 scores. Just a shot behind them was Caleb Castle and his +16. A little further off the pace was Caleb Cline's 189 and Tanner Mollett's 213.
KCU travels to Knoxville, TN to play in the Johnson University Tennessee Fall Invitational. The tournament is scheduled for October 19th and 20th.
