NCCAA Mideast Region Men's Golf Tournament
Oak Ridge, TN – The Campbellsville University Tigers ran away with the NCCAA Mideast Region Championship following an impressive two-day, team total of 578 … two strokes over par.
In round one, the Knights were led by Bricen Thompson with a 77, followed by Caleb Castle's 79. KCU finished the first day with a 331 which put them in fourth place. Kentucky Christian bettered their team score from day one by nine strokes (322) but lost ground to the field as they finished play in fifth place. Matthew Miller's 76 led the team on day two followed by Caleb Castle with a 78. KCU finished in 5th place with a two-day total of 653.
The Knights will be traveling to Prestonsburg, KY for the UPike Invitational on Friday, 9/27 thru Sunday, 9/29.
