Two Knights Named NAIA All-Americans
Yankton, SD – Evan Leist (SO/Beaver, OH) and Sierra Poppell (SR/Sheperdsville, KY) earned NAIA All-American status and the recently concluded 2021 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet. The meet was contested at the Mount Marty Fieldhouse in Yankton, SD.
Both Leist (Mile) and Poppell (3,000 Meters) finished fourth in their event with the top eight garnering an All-American nod.
On the men's side, Kentucky Christian finished the event in 47th place overall while the women placed a little further up the chart with a 36th place finish. Listed below are the final placements of the competitors of each event:
