Trimble Competes at NCCAA Nationals
Palm Coast, FL – Kentucky Christian University sophomore, Sidney Trimble, earned a ticket to play in the NCCAA Women's Golf National Championship via her placement in the Mideast Region Tournament. A 2nd Place finish qualified her to compete and provided the opportunity to earn individual medalist honors.
Trimble played consistently throughout her three rounds and fired a final round 97 for a three-round total of 287, which was good enough for 45th place. During her final round, Sidney struck the ball well but struggled with her putter on the very large and undulating greens. For the Championship, The Conservatory course was lengthened to 6028 yards for the women during Sunday's final round.
