Women's Soccer Drops Road Opener

Oakland City, IN – The Kentucky Christian women's soccer team opened the 2021 season by traveling to the Oakland City University campus for the first game under new Head Coach Logan Langseth. After 90 minutes on the pitch, KCU came away with the 0-3 loss.

• Ari Shank (SO/Ramsey, MN) led the team with two shots on goal followed by Selah Bussell (FR/Hillsboro, KY) with one.
• In goal for the Knights, Millie Conod (FR/Walsall, England) stopped nine of the 12 shot attempts by the OCU offense.

• The three surrendered goals by the Knights defense matches the lowest number of scoring goals by their opponent throughout the entire 2020 season.

• The 4-1 shots on goal advantage Oakland City enjoyed over their opponents from KCU.

Who's Up Next

The Knights travel to Michigan this weekend for a pair of games. First up for KCU are the Saints from Siena Heights University on Saturday at 7:00 PM. Kentucky Christian then plays Madonna University on Monday at 12:00 PM before returning to Grayson. Go Knights!!!
