Knights Soccer Can’t Protect Home Pitch Against SAU
Grayson, KY – Kentucky Christian welcomed Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) foe, St. Andrews University to Knights Stadium for an afternoon contest. Unfortunately, SAU was well prepared for this road game as they defeated the Knights 0-9.
With the game being played primarily in the KCU end of the field, St. Andrews scored early and often. SAU found the net four times in the 1st half and five times after intermission. They were credited with 18 total shots with 17 of those being on goal.
For the Knights, KCU managed eight shots with four being on goal. Knights’ goalkeeper, Brett Ferguson was assigned eight saves.
