Men’s Soccer Earns Road Draw
Knoxville, TN - For the second time this season, KCU men’s soccer battled back in the second half to tie a game in which they trailed. Visiting the Johnson University pitch, Kentucky Christian trailed after Caleb Wilkins gave the home standing Royals a 0-1 lead in the 28th minute of the game. His unassisted goal would stand for approximately 40 minutes of clock time.
That is until the Knights’ Jaime Rodriguez netted an unassisted goal of his own in the 68th minute. Both teams battled for the winning score throughout the remainder of regulation and overtime, but were unable to gain a win.
Brett Ferguson went the distance for KCU in the net, turning away nine of the 10 shots he faced.
