WBB Ends Season in NCCAA Semis
Grayson, KY – The Kentucky Christian women’s basketball team finished off the 2022-23 season with a 86-68 loss to the Asbury University women in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Mideast Region semi-finals. With the loss, KCU finishes the season at 15-15.
Jada Higgins completed her collegiate career with yet another double-double as she had 15 points and 10 rebounds in addition to seven assists. Also in her final game as a Lady Knight, Jasmine Flowers collected 14 points on 4-5 (3-4 3-pters) shooting and 3-4 from the free throw line. Coming off the bench, Bell Sparks added 16 points to lead KCU in scoring and was credited with three blocked shots.
