Early Lead for WVU Tech Seals Knights Fate

Grayson, KY - KCU watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 21-3 loss to WVU Tech on Tuesday. The Knights struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing WVU Tech.
Palomo pitched WVU Tech to victory. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out two. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Pakkala, Wilkinson, Cline, and Reid all securing outs and ultimately the victory.
Adam Cooper took the loss for the Knights. The right-hander allowed one hit and five runs over one inning.
