Beckley, W.Va. - KCU got on the board first with a single from Leandro Guevara to scored Cristian Garcia. In the top of the 3rd inning Noah Waltz hit a sac fly to score Leandro Guevara. Aiden Bevan singled bringing in Evan Juniper to put the Knights up 3-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning. In the top of the 4th inning Yan Rivera hit a sac fly bringing in Cole Thomason to extend the lead. Top 5th inning Cole Thomason and Justin Legg both advanced on a passed ball that scored Dylan Renard. In the top of the 7th inning Cole Thomason advanced on a passed ball again while Justin Legg scored on the same pitch. Cristian Garcia singled bringing in Cole Thomason. Evan Juniper singled bringing Leandro Guevara and Cristian Garcia to put the Knights up 9-0 over WVU Tech.
