Kentucky Christian University (KCU) Knights fell to Taylor University(RV) 42-35 in a closely contested football game Saturday. Quarterback Jackson Wasik threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns, while wide receiver Jason Cobb recorded 204 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine catches.
Taylor University secured the win with a late fourth-quarter touchdown, breaking a 35-35 tie. The Knights' offense showcased resilience, with Wasik's performance marking a season-high in passing yards. Cobb's 204-yard game is the fourth 200-yard receiving performance in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) history.
Head Coach Aubry expressed pride in the team's effort, stating, "I am very proud of our young men and how they fought to the end. Taylor is a very good football team, and we played them toe to toe! We will regroup this week and be prepared for Morehead State."
