Bio
Jason Aubry was appointed Head Football Coach at Kentucky Christian University in April 2023, becoming the eighth head coach in program history. A proven program builder and culture architect, Aubry brings more than 25 years of coaching experience, including over two decades as a head coach, where he has built and transformed programs at the high school, Division III, and NAIA levels.
Since arriving at KCU, Aubry has led a complete program transformation rooted in his Clarity of Purpose framework, a system that aligns purpose, identity, standards, and daily habits to drive performance. Taking over a program in need of direction, he has engineered a steady and measurable turnaround by building an efficient, high-performing operation and maximizing every available resource. Under his leadership, the Knights have improved each season, including signature wins and one of the most notable victories in program history with a road win over NCAA Division II Central State.
Beyond the field, Aubry has elevated the program academically and culturally. The team GPA has risen significantly during his tenure, reflecting his commitment to developing disciplined, accountable, and purpose-driven student-athletes. His programs are known for producing high-character leaders, not just football players, with an emphasis on ownership, accountability, and personal growth.
Aubry’s impact as a builder spans three levels of football. At Joliet West High School, he led a historic turnaround that included the program’s first-ever playoff appearance and the most wins in a season in nearly five decades. His teams consistently excelled in the classroom, achieving a 98% graduation rate, including 100% graduation over his final five years. At Concordia University Chicago, he led the program to its best season in years, continuing his track record of elevating performance and culture.
Prior to KCU, Aubry served as Offensive Coordinator at Bridge City High School in Texas, bringing his offensive system and leadership approach to one of the most competitive football states in the country.
Aubry is the creator of the Clarity of Purpose framework, a leadership and performance system he has used for more than 20 years to develop athletes, coaches, and leaders. His philosophy is built on the belief that purpose drives behavior, behavior drives results, and true success is measured not only in wins, but in the outcomes that money cannot buy, including peace of mind, strong relationships, and a disciplined life.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Illinois State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Aubry and his wife, Dana, have been married for 31 years. They have three children, Kylah (Jake), Jaxon, and Kennedy, and are proud grandparents to Bostyn, Kovah, Lemon, and Rocki.
