Bio
Under his leadership, the defense emerged as one of the most impactful units in the conference, finishing Top 12 in the NAIA in defensive touchdowns and ranking second in the conference in sacks. The group also showed significant growth in takeaways, increasing interceptions from three to nine on the season. His commitment to player development was evident, coaching five All-Conference selections, including four First Team honorees, as well as the Defensive Freshman Player of the Year.
In 2023, Brady coached the defensive line at Fairmont State University helping lead the team to an 8–3 record, a turnaround from 3–8 the previous season. During that time, he mentored two All-Conference players. He also served during the 2022 season at Cornell College in Iowa.
In 2024, Brady coached at Morehead State, contributing to a program improvement from a 4–7 record in 2023 to 7–5. He was part of a defensive unit that led the conference in sacks and fumble recoveries while finishing fourth in the FCS in turnover margin. During his time there, he mentored two All-Conference defensive linemen. He previously contributed to one of Morehead State’s top seasons in recent history in 2021, when the team went 7–4, and coached linebacker Vincent Winey to First Team All-PFL honors.
Brady was also part of a championship staff at Lindsey Wilson College, helping the program secure its first NAIA National Championship during the 2020–21 season with a perfect 11–0 record. During his time there, he coached both outside linebackers and cornerbacks, mentoring Robert Carter to First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors.
Earlier in his career, Brady served as a graduate assistant defensive line coach at Bluffton University in 2019, where he also worked as the program’s life skills and academic coordinator. He began his coaching career with roles at Kentucky State and Howard Payne, including time as a student assistant and graduate assistant. While at Kentucky State, he contributed to the development of three All-Conference players and helped the program rank 14th in Division II in punt returns.
As a player, Brady competed collegiately at Campbellsville and Kentucky State, where he was part of two conference championship teams and a conference divisional title team.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kentucky State in 2018.
