Men's Golf Play in NCCAA Mideast Regional

Montgomery, IN – The Kentucky Christian University men's team completed as individuals in the 2021 NCCAA Mideast Region Tournament and when the two-day event was complete, KCU's Clay Ison (FR/Ashland, KY) finished one stroke out of medalist position.

Country Oaks Golf Club served as the host site for the tournament. The Par-72 venue proved to be a stiff test of golf that stretched to 6,988 yards in length with only four entrants finishing play at par or better.

Ison's total for the event was a three-over 147 for the 36 holes. He carded a 75 for his Monday round and an even par finish for Day 2. Also competing for the Knights were John (JT) Howie (FR/Taylorsville, KY) (163) and Alec Stone (FR/Ashland, KY) (191).
