Cross County Runs in Louisville

Louisville, KY – The Kentucky Christian cross country teams competed in the 2021 edition of the "Live in Louisville" Classic. This annual meet draws hundreds of collegiate teams from across the country and thousands of competitors, not only collegians but from every walk of life.

From the women's side of the race, KCU's Jordan Riley (FR/Russell, KY) led her squad over the 5K course with a time of 20:20.4. Sydney Reed (FR/Waverly, OH) and Samantha Reed (FR/Waverly, OH) ran 21:00.9 and 21:13.0, respectively, while Julia Graves (SO/Winchester, KY) and Emily Brackob (SO/Taylorsville, KY) came in with 22:38.8 and 23:56.9.

CJ Kelley (FR/Garfield Heights, OH) who ran the 8K course in 27:14.7 paced the men. He was followed by James Overholser (SO/Sharpsburg, KY) (27:50.8), Payton Herron (FR/Cedarville, OH) (28:32.2), Quay Harrison (FR/Ironton, OH) (28:37.7), and Luke Davisson (FR/Newark, OH) (30:29.0).
