Women's Soccer Loses at Columbia

Columbia, SC – The KCU women were hosted on Saturday afternoon by the Koalas of Columbia College. It was the conference opener for both teams and Columbia took full advantage of the home pitch by defeating the Knights 0-4.

Knights Stats

The Knights had four players credited with shots on goal. Alex Coburn (JR/Mt. Sterling, KY), Millie Conod (FR/Walsall, England), Abbie Hibbs (JR/Danville, KY) and Daria McManus (FR/Clearwater, FL).
Conod posted eight saves in goal.

Team Totals

With only five total shots produced, the defense had the brunt of the action on their end of the pitch.

The Winning Factor

Columbia's offense collected 19 shots with 12 (Four finding the net) of them being on goal.

Next Saturday, Sept. 18^th, KCU will host their first home game of the 2021 season as they host the Rams of Columbia International University (SC). Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
