Mike & Mary Johnson Classic

The cross country team had a successful Saturday morning at Berea College, with every athlete meeting the qualifying standard for the NCCAA XC Championships in November.

Freshman Sallie Robbins kicked off the day with a 16th-place finish in the Mike & Mary Johnson Classic Women’s 5,000m run, completing the course in 23:25.

On the men’s side, freshman James Stanger achieved 5th place with a time of 28:01. Teammate Machi Davidson finished his 8,000m run in 32:16.

The team now sets their eyes on their next race, scheduled for September 27th.
